Rebranding: the national museum of mathematics

The National Museum of Mathematics embodies discovery, play, and wonder. To begin this spec project, I was prompted to create a custom typeface, created from scratch. These letterforms were used in the logo mark and on all branding materials.

Geared toward children, this New York based museum aims to inspire a playful approach to mathematics in the future generation. I accomplished that aspiration through unusually thick alphabetic characters and small counter forms.
